How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Register by filling a simple form, browse Available Auctions, buy a seat with bids and bid away when the auction starts. If you win, you claim and pay or opt for Buy It Now (with applicable discount) to own the item.

Are products on Dealite brand-new?

Yes, All products featured on Dealite are brand-new, box-packed and with warranty (if applicable).

Can I really save 99% off market price?

Yes. With a start price of 0 and each bid increment of 1, you may be able to save 99% off market price. On average, we expect Dealite auction winners to save between 50%-99%.

Can everyone be a winner?

Yes. While only the last bidder, when the clock hits zero, is the auction winner, Dealite provides an option to every participant for Buy It Now at a discount covering 100% of your seat cost and paid bids.

What does 'Buy Seat' mean?

Buy Seat is your exclusive entry ticket into an auction. You can Buy Seat with bids and reserve your seat in the auction. Dealite gives you an equal number of bids called ‘free bids’, when you buy a seat, which you can use to place bids in that particular auction where you have bought a seat.

How do I know when my auction will start?

We will send you several reminder emails to help you keep track of auctions where you have bought a seat. You can track auctions where you have bought a seat from Participating Auctions in My Account (My Auctions).

What makes your auctions different?

Our auctions are unlike any other auctions you may have experienced with:

• Limited bidders (on an average 20 to 100 bidders)

What is the difference between available, in progress and housefull auctions?

Available Auctions are auctions where seats are currently available, i.e. you can buy a seat to participate in the auction.

In Progress Auctions are auctions that are currently in session, i.e. you can participate and place bids if you have bought a seat or watch if you haven’t bought a seat there.

Housefull Auctions are auctions where all seats are sold and no more buy seats are possible.

How do I keep track of my auctions?

You can track your auctions in your My Account console in My Auctions section. Here’s an overview:

In Progress Auctions are auctions where you have bought a seat and are currently in session.

Claim Win/ Buy It Now allows you to view all your recently completed auctions where you have the option to claim win or avail of Buy It Now.

Auction History includes a history of auctions in which you have participated (won, expired or cancelled).

Purchase/Bid History includes records of all bid purchases (excluding free bids), win and Buy It Now claim transactions. You can also view your invoice for bid purchases here.

Why is time added to the auction clock?

We want to give everyone an opportunity to bid in an auction where they have bought a seat. When an auction is about to end i.e. less than 15 seconds are left, for one or more bids received, 15 seconds are added to the auction clock to give other bidders a chance to place a bid.

How do I win?

If you're the last bidder when the auction timer hits zero, YOU WIN!

How can I watch an auction?

In Progress Auctions are auctions that are currently in session. Simply head over there to view an exciting auction live.

What is a cancelled auction?

An auction gets cancelled for some reason e.g. when all seats are not filled before the start time of the auction.

Do I get back my bids when an auction gets cancelled?

Yes. You automatically get 100% of your bids back when an auction, where you had bought a seat, gets cancelled.

How do I purchase bids?

Buying bids is easy. Simply click on Buy Bids at the top of every page. You can select from multiple bid packs of 10, 20, 30 and more. You can use your preferred payment option and add as many bids as you want to your account. The more bids you buy, the more value you get.

What are free bids?

When you buy a seat in an auction, you use bids to book your seat. Dealite gives you an equal number of bids called ‘free bids’ which you can use to place bids in that particular auction where you have bought a seat. Free bids are valid for the duration of the auction and expire when an auction ends.

How do I bid?

There are two ways to bid in an auction where you have bought a seat: Manual & Autobid.
Manual bidding: When you are bidding manually, you click on the ‘Bid Now’ button in an In Progress auction where you have bought a seat. Each ‘Bid Now’ click increases the current price of the item by 1 and one bid is debited from your Account (number of bids).
Autobid: Autobid is a really cool feature where you can set your bidding preferences into the Autobid tool box of any auction where you have bought a seat and Autobid will bid for you automatically. You do not have to wait till the auction starts to put in your Autobid preferences.
You need to input 3 parameters to activate Autobid:

• Start From: Specify the current bid price when you want Autobid to start bidding
• Bid Upto: Specify the current bid price when you want Autobid to stop bidding
• No. of Bids: Specify the maximum number of bids that you want to load in Autobid

How do I check my bid balance?

You can check your bid balance anytime from Purchase/ Bid History in My Account (My Auctions).

Can I see who else is bidding in an auction?

Yes. We want Dealite to be absolutely transparent and fun. You can view who else is bidding in any live (In Progress) auction on the right hand side panel of the item page.

Can I bid on a future auction?

No, you can only bid when the auction starts. However, you can make use of Autobid to schedule your bids in advance to automatically bid for you when the auction starts.

If I do not win an auction, do I get my bids back?

No, bids submitted by you to buy a seat or for bidding are non retractable and non refundable. However when you avail of the Buy it Now option, we will return all bids placed by you to buy seat and any paid bids placed in the form of an equivalent discount on the Dealite Price.

What is Autobid?

Autobid is an automated bidding system for smart bidders which bids for you based on the parameters set by you and only when you are not the last bidder and the initial auction timer is about to hit zero. Autobid is also a useful tool which lets you participate in an auction when you are away from the Dealite website.

How does Autobid work while buying at an auction?

You need to input 3 parameters to activate Autobid:

• Start From: Specify the current bid price when you want Autobid to start bidding
• Bid Upto: Specify the current bid price when you want Autobid to stop bidding
• No. of Bids: Specify the maximum number of bids that you want to load in Autobid

When can I set or stop Autobid?

You can set Autobid anytime after you have bought a seat for that auction and before the auction ends. You can stop Autobid anytime after you have set the Autobid and before the auction ends.

Is there a cost to using Autobid?

No. We provide Autobid absolutely free.

Can I use bids blocked in Autobid for other auctions?

No. Bids set in Autobid are unavailable for use in other auctions. However, after the auction is over, any unused bids which are not free bids are unblocked and can be used for other auctions. Further you can always stop and adjust Autobid parameters to free/ block appropriate number of bids.

I just won an auction, what's next?

Congratulations! The next step is to claim and pay from Claim Win/ Buy It Now in My Account (My Auctions). On your auction listing click ‘Claim Win’ to proceed to provide your shipping details and your preferred payment option and pay for your win. We will dispatch your product within 2-3 business days from confirmation of your payment.
Note: Your window to claim a win is limited. Make sure you make your claim within 3 days of your auction win after which the ‘Claim Win’ option expires.

What is Buy It Now?

Buy It Now is a really cool option for auction participants to buy the product at discounted price to recover 100% of your buy seat cost and all paid bids used in that auction as a discount. This means you can still buy at an auction and your entire investment into the auction works at increasing your final discount.
Note: Your window to avail Buy It Now is limited. Make sure you make your claim within 3 days of your auction completion after which the ‘Claim to Buy It Now’ option expires.

Who is eligible for Buy It Now?

Anyone who participates in an auction (other than the winner) is eligible to avail of the Buy It Now option.

Why do you offer Buy It Now?

How long do I have to pay for my auction win?

You have 3 days after your auction ends to claim and pay for your auction win, after which the ‘Claim Win’ option expires.

How long do I have the Buy It Now option?

You have 3 days after your auction ends to avail of the Buy It Now option, after which the ‘Claim Win’ option expires.

What methods of payments do you accept?

We have partnered with DirecPay to offer you multiple payment options:

• All major debit & credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club)
• Net banking across all leading national and foreign banks
• Paymate

Are my payments to Dealite secure?

Our trusted payment gateway is VeriSign secured and uses industry standard SSL encryption to protect your payment information. All credit/debit/bank details remain confidential and private. Dealite does not store any of your credit/debit/bank information.

Do you store my credit/debit card or net banking information?

No. Dealite does not store any credit/debit card or net banking information.

Where does Dealite deliver?

Dealite has partnered with Aramex as our preferred logistics partner. We currently deliver to over 7000 pincodes across India. You can check if your location is within our service area in our Pincode Checker from Billing Address in My Account (My Profile).

When can I expect delivery?

We dispatch most products within 2-3 business days from confirmation of your payment and deliver within 3-7 business days after dispatch. That said, we know you want your product to arrive ASAP, so our team tries really hard to meet your expectations.

How do I track my shipment?

You can track the status of your shipment from Track Shipment in My Account.Use the tracking number from our email confirming the dispatch of your shipment.

I haven't received my shipment, what do I do?

We aim to dispatch your product within 2-3 business days from confirmation of your payment. After we ship out we mail you a tracking number. You can track the status of your shipment from Track Shipment in My account. In the unlikely situation that you do not hear from us within 5 days on your tracking number, please contact Customer Service

I have received my shipment, but I have a problem?

If you have received your shipment and are not satisfied, please check our Returns Policy before contacting Customer Service.

What is your returns policy?

We have a simple and user-friendly Returns Policy.

I forgot my username or password?

If you have forgotten your username or password, mouse over the ‘Login | Register’ link on the Dealite homepage and click Forgot Your Username or Password or jump right to Username/Password Assistance. We will send your username and password to your registered email address.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password from Change Password in My Account (My Profile).

Can I change my email address?

At this point you cannot change your registered email address. However, if you need to update it, please contact Customer Service.

How do I track my auctions?

You can track your auctions in your My Account console in My Auctions section. Here’s an overview:

Participating Auctions are auctions where you have bought a seat and awaiting auction to start. You can keep track and go to your auctions from this page.

In Progress Auctions are auctions where you have bought a seat and are currently in session.

Claim Win/ Buy It Now allows you to view all your recently completed auctions where you have the option to claim win or avail of Buy It Now.

Auction History includes a history of auctions in which you have participated (won, expired or cancelled).

Purchase/Bid History includes records of all bid purchases (excluding free bids), win and Buy It Now claim transactions. You can also view your invoice for bid purchases here.

How do I unsubscribe from the Dealite newsletter?

If you want to unsubscribe from the Dealite newsletter, please click the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email and confirm. We will process your request within 24 hours. If you wish to subscribe again, please enter your email address at the bottom of the home page and click on ‘Alert Me’.

How do I invite friends to Dealite auctions and earn?

It is very easy to start inviting and earning using ‘Share & Earn’. Login to Dealite website, browse the Available Auctions and share as many auctions as you want with your friends inviting them to participate in the auctions. The more seats you fill in an auction, the higher your payout.

• from the auction page using the share icons next to ‘Share and Earn BIG’ hyper link.
• from the auction invite page. Each auction has an invite page, which you can access by clicking the ‘Share and Earn BIG’ hyper link on the auction page. You can use various auction sharing options available on the auction invite page to invite your friends.

Please keep in mind, you need to be logged in on the Dealite website while using the share options mentioned above and only those invites sent using the options mentioned above will be tracked.

When do I earn?

You earn when the auction is successful i.e. 3 days after the auction is over (when all claims for win & Buy It Now are closed), winner claims the item won i.e. pays for the item won and you had filled (successful auction invites) the minimum percentage of seats required.

Your earnings are calculated and eligible/valid only when the winner claims the item won i.e. pays for the item won. Our system automatically calculates the ‘gross gains’. Your primary goal should be to get enough bidders to an auction through your auction invite link.

How much do I earn? How are the earnings calculated?

You earn a percentage of ‘gross gains’ for a successful auction depending on percentage of auction seats filled (‘buy seat’) through the auction invite links shared by you .

• Number of seats: 30
• Cost per seat: 50 Bids
• Dealite Price: 30,000
• Total Number of bids placed (incl. Free bids): 3,000
• Number of Free Bids placed: 1,500
• Final item Price reached and paid by the winner: 3,000
• No Buy It Now claims

Gross Gains = 33,000 - Taxes

Now your earnings will be as follows depending on the number of seats filled by you for that auction through your auction invites

When do I get paid?

We transfer user’s ‘Share & Earn’ earnings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month. Users need to accrue a minimum of 1,000 in ‘Share & Earn’ earnings to request a payout. We have a net 30 days ‘cooling’ period before attributing earnings to a user. This is to adjust earnings for any charge-backs/ refunds.

Why do you require my bank account and Permanent Account Number (PAN) information?

We require your bank account information to transfer your earnings through the NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) system directly to your bank account; and PAN details to calculate tax liability, if any.

Where can I see and track my successful invites and ‘Share & Earn’ earnings?

You can view your successful invitations on your invite page of that auction, which you can access by clicking the ‘Share and Earn BIG’ on that auction page when you are logged in.

What happens if User does not provide PAN (Permanent Account Number) and PAN proof?

If an User does not provide PAN number and submit a copy of the PAN card, as per applicable law we are required to deduct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source).

How do I request a ‘Share & Earn’ payout and generate an invoice?

Users can request a ‘Share & Earn’ payout from (Share & Earn) My Payout page in My Account, My Sales section in the ‘Available for Payout’ section which includes all eligible auctions that are cleared for payout. Simply click ‘Request Payout’ and proceed to the Payout Request page where you can submit an invoice without service tax and your payout request is queued in our system.
